Cherubino calling…

Naomi will join Atlanta Opera this April and Welsh National Opera next season in the role of Cherubino in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.  

Atlanta Opera’s production, originally produced at the Banff Festival, will be conducted by Arthur Fagen and directed by Tara Faircloth.  Fellow Juilliard alum Lauren Snouffer will be singing the role of Susanna. Performance dates: April 4, 7, 10, 12.

Welsh National Opera will be presenting The Marriage of Figaro as part of their much-anticipated ‘Figaro here, Figaro there’ trilogy next spring.   Naomi will also be performing the role of Serafin in WNO’s newly-comissioned opera Figaro Gets a Divorce by Elena Granger.  The Marriage of Figaro will be conducted by WNO Music Director Lothar Koenigs and directed by Tobias Richter. Figaro Gets a Divorce will be directed by David Poutney, who also wrote the libretto. Both productions will be performed in English with surtitles in both English and Welsh in Cardiff and Llandudno.
